SQA Engineer

Job Description:

XAutonomous is Looking forward to hiring a diligent Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. They will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality and conformance to the requirements laid out. The designated candidate will be required to design and implement tests, define corrective actions as well as work and assist a developer in resolving bugs/issues found in the product.

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, user acceptance, and regression testing on all central systems, subsystems, modules, and applications.
• Create, maintain, and update test cases based on business requirements.
• Will be required to test, design, create, execute, and report manual test cases.
• Assist the Project Manager in the development of test plans and test reports.
• Efficiently Report and manage software issues and understand activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Employ automation tools, including Visual Studio Test Professional and other industry best practices to enhance the testing process.
• Will require strong analytical/problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and communication.
• Will require the ability to exercise independent judgment, multitask, and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Should understand the requirements fully and initiate discussions with concerned people to seek clarifications on unclear/unspecified requirements.
• Ability to function with Strong Quality Assurance and system engineering that includes high-volume MS SQL environments or equivalent.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of testing experience on Web Applications, Web APIs, and Web Services.
• Proven Quality Assurance experience with Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing and direct hands-on experience with automated testing tools and writing SQL Queries.
• In-depth knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with testing, designing, creation, execution, and reporting of manual test cases.
• Strong experience with backend database testing desired experience with Microsoft SQL 2017/+.
• Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools
• Hands-on Experience setting up or working in a Continuous testing environment.
• Writing use cases and test cases for software applications.

Qualification: BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or diploma in Computer Science from a reputable institute.
Experience: 02-03 years.
Location: Bahria Town Karachi.
Job Type: Full time (onsite).
