How XAutonomous Connected with the Future of Tech at (FAST NUCES DEV DAY’25)
The most anticipated recruitment event happened on 17th April,2025, and to say the least; it was a buzzing mix of opportunities, talent, and real conversations that left everyone inspired.
On this day, XAutonomous joined FAST NUCES Dev Day as their recruitment partner to help young innovators enlighten the path of their career trajectories with clarity. The entire motive was to show up, embrace ideas, spot talents, and share who we are with students looking to shape their futures.
During the event, we received spontaneous resume drop-offs for which we were genuinely excited. Here’s a quick recap of the moments we stepped in, the amazing students we met, the great conversations we had, and everything that made Dev Day’25 one to remember.
1. A Warm Welcome
As soon as we reached the venue, we were warmly welcomed by President Muhammad Rahim Khan and Vice President Neeraj Otwani. These two were the seniors who set the tone for the day with their hospitality, enthusiasm, and clear passion for connecting students with real-world opportunities.
After having a small chit chat with them, the day kicked off on a high note with a warm and thoughtful hi-tea reception. The early chatter, the soft clinking of teacups, and the scent of freshly brewed tea created an inviting atmosphere.
It really set the tone for our team to spend the rest of the day with great energy and enthusiasm. Once the hi-tea was done, we headed towards our booth which was our recruiting station for the entire day.
2. We Reached Our Booth
Once we settled at our designated booth, the energy picked up fast. Students from all backgrounds (software development, design, data, business and more) came by with curiosity and confidence.
Some walked in with polished resumes and questions about open roles. Others just wanted to understand how tech companies like ours work. We were amazed at the level of passion and the kind of questions we were asked. This showed how genuinely invested the Alumni and students were.
Some were crystal clear about what they wanted. Others were still exploring. But what all of them had in common was their desire to learn. While meeting them, we were happy to guide, mentor, and in many cases career counsel them to see the bigger picture and explore better options with confidence.
3. Lunch Break
After a buzzing morning, lunch time gave everyone a chance to unwind and refuel. But even there, conversations flowed naturally. We found ourselves talking over food, and brainstorming ideas between bites. Some even came up with their resumes, quietly handing them over between bites, almost as if they didn’t want to miss their chance even during a break.
4. Back in Action
After post-lunch, we were right back at it. Our booth once again became the go-to spot for students looking to make the most of their day. We welcomed new faces and answered more questions and reviewed more portfolios. Many who didn’t approach us earlier came back with follow-ups.
We also got the chance to conduct some quick interviews with students and alumni – hearing directly from them about their journey, their goals, and what they’re looking for in the industry. We loved speaking with part-time students who are balancing studies and work – the dedication they show is something we truly admire.
5. Meeting Other Companies
We also took the time to explore other booths and connect with fellow companies. For us, it’s always valuable to see how other teams approach recruitment and innovation. We’re glad that Dev Day gave us space to do exactly that.
We had the chance to meet Sibi Soft Pvt Ltd, TechMatter, Carecloud, JIN technology and exchange ideas and appreciate the diversity of tech talent being showcased.
6. A Moment of Recognition
Now comes the unexpected yet proud moments of the day. Yes, the moment of receiving an honor from FAST NUCES. While the reason for our arrival was to discover new talent, receiving honor reminded us that our presence, efforts, and conversations made an impact.
This sincere acknowledgment from the organizers was a powerful reminder that our contribution was seen, appreciated, and remembered. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do and inspire us to come back stronger with better purpose, energy, and commitment.
7. Capturing the Day
Before calling it a wrap, we made sure to capture some memories. We took some group shots with our team to have fun moments with the students. We even recorded a few interviews with candidates we met during the event to hear their thoughts and share their experiences.
This was to capture their honest reflection on what they learned, how they felt, and what they’re hoping to achieve next. These pictures that we clicked now sit in our office as visual reminder of a well spent day.
8. Time to Pack Up
As the sun started to set, it was time to pack up. We weren’t leaving empty-handed – we had a collection of promising resumes, a notebook full of new ideas, and a heart full of gratitude.
For us, the thing that made Dev Day truly special wasn’t just the scale or the footfall – it was the quality of interactions. We got to witness firsthand the incredible energy this new generation is bringing into the tech-software world and are glad to even offer opportunities to some of them.
What’s Coming Next…
Now that we’re back to work, we’ve got resumes to go through, emails to respond to, and potential candidates to call in. We saw so many promises, and we’re excited to bring some of that into our team.
We can’t wait to see where these new connections take us. And to those who’ve sent us their applications — we truly appreciate the effort. We wish you all the best. May this be the start of something great for your career.
Hoping to see you next year!
